A Dream Is A Wish With Trees Of Hope

Local companies Garaje Isla Verde, Bufete Andreu & Sagardía, The Raevis Group, American Express, and Foxwoods El San Juan Casino joined Fairmont El San Juan Hotel to participate in the Accor’s annual Trees of Hope program.

Since 1990, Make-A-Wish Puerto Rico has been promoting the real meaning of wishes in Puerto Rico. Day by day, this foundation have teach people that wishes goes beyond gift giving or event planning. As a result, they have been creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses by advocating that just the act of making a kid’s wish come true, can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments bravely.

As an effort to show their commitment to the community, these local businesses formed a fundraising alliance with the goal of supporting the Make A-Wish- Puerto Rico Foundation. The Lobby at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel was decorated with spectacular trees, each with the names and logos of the affiliated companies. Trees of Hope form part of Accor’s social responsibility program. This is an annual fundraising tradition that embraces the true spirit of the season with Christmas’ trees lighting up the hotel ‘s lobby. All proceeds from the fundraisers are donated to the Make A-Wish- Puerto Rico Foundation. The dazzling trees are on display during the hotel’s busiest vacation period, the Holidays.
