Fairmont El San Juan Hotel celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October 2021, Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month by creating very special initiatives for guests and locals.

In the Americas, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women. More than 462,000 women are newly diagnosed and approximately 100,000 women die from breast cancer each year. This is why it’s important to raise awareness about breast cancer and support women to reduce their breast cancer risks, be screened and seek medical attention, if a suspicious lump is detected.

As part of its continuous efforts in the local community, Fairmont El San Juan Hotel has partnered with the American Cancer Society of Puerto Rico to honor this important cause. Guests and locals will have the opportunity to make a special donation in the checks of all restaurants and bars at the hotel. By making a donation, guests are contributing to the American Cancer Society of Puerto Rico’s mission of offering their best to help patients and working tirelessly to find cures. The American Cancer Society has programs and services to help people manage cancer treatment including transportation, information, longing, and recovery. In addition, they provide their patients with the tools and resources for emotional support.

At all the bars and restaurants at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, guests can also enjoy the Spa-Rita, our delicious pink margarita made of tequila, watermelon, and sugar.
