Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Hosted “Los Cangrejeros De Santurce” Press Conference

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is honored to have hosted a special press conference for the baseball team of “Los Cangrejeros de Santurce” in its spectacular venue, Tropicoro. The sports industry has always been a crucial part of Fairmont El San Juan Hotel’s history, and to support the sports in Puerto Rico is an inspiration to the team at the property and to the local community. These athletes put the name of Puerto Rico on the map, and represent us in an exemplary manner around the world.

At the event it was ratified that the world icon, entrepreneur and hit maker, Daddy Yankee, continues to lead the Cangrejeros de Santurce baseball team as a shareholder, member of the Board of Directors of Impulse Sports and Vice President of Operations of the Cangrejeros de Santurce. “My commitment to local sports to continue to promote talent and inspire a new generation of athletes remains stronger than ever. We have strengthened the Cangrejeros de Santurce and I am confident that with our new partners we will achieve the goals we have set for ourselves,” said Daddy Yankee.

The mayor of San Juan, Miguel A. Romero Lugo, highlighted the impact that this announcement has on the sports, the economy and entertainment in the Capital City and Puerto Rico. “Baseball is a discipline that is part of our culture, that unites Puerto Ricans and that, in addition, moves the local economy,” mentioned the Mayor.
