ANTHONY EDWIN
Edwin Cruz Oyola, born on February 17, 1994 and raised in Bayamón Puerto Rico. At a young age he found his interest in photography portraying landscapes, people, any subject that captured his attention, practicing photography at the Art League in Old San Juan and studied Digital Photography with Graphic Design in his adolescence at Atlantic College. Cinema lover since he was young, today Today he considers himself a Filmmaker. He has filmed artists from Puerto Rico in music videos and documentaries, exercising cinematographic techniques with goal of being able to direct Films.
Presenting:
El Jibarito de Cayey, documents the creative process of artist David Zayas as he paints a tribute to the great Ramón Frade, an iconic Cayeyan artist whose work has inspired generations of Puerto Rican artists. This project marks the first official collaboration between David Zayas and me, uniting visual art and film to pay tribute to a fundamental figure of our cultural identity.
