RAFIQUE

Born on February 18, 1999 in Ponce. In 2010 he enrolled in the Specialized School of Fine Arts of Ponce, where he was accepted into the Visual Arts program, from which he graduated in 2017. In 2022 he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Traditional Graphic Arts from the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico. Currently he dedicates himself to art as his main income, while he is working as an assistant and manager of mural projects for other artists, such as David Zayas and Bikismo. He has debuted as an independent artist in different festivals and exhibitions internationally and locally. One of the concentrations of his work is expressionist portraiture and ancestral culture from the lost history of precolonial Puerto Rico.
