The Unususal Girls, Guaybano P.R.
Bianca Montoya is a puertorrican artist and muralist based in Puerto Rico. Graduated from The University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Advertising and a minor in art, and she has more than 10 years of experience in the creative industry. Bianca has been transmitting how important it is to embrace yourself through her project “Unusual Girls”. This project started in 2015 with the idea of promoting women’s unique values and perspectives through fashion and eccentric glam.
Presented work: New Book, The Unusual Girls
The book presented is titled “The Unusual Girl” and is a compilation of all the artistic and unusual elements of the multicolored life of Bianca Sofia Montoya, a Puerto Rican plastic artist. It has more than 100 Unusual Girls that have been created over the years between phrases and quotes that motivate and inspire the reader to get creative. It has a chapter dedicated to how to live on the tropical island of Puerto Rico and contains all the murals worked around Puerto Rico by the artist. The book is published and handmade here in Puerto Rico by Editorial Punta Pluma.
